Look At My Records! is a podcast and music blog run by Tom Gallo.
Tom is a podcast/radio host, writer, record collector, archivist, DJ, and event producer living in downtown Jersey City. In addition to the Look At My Records! podcast, Tom hosts Local Fidelity, a New York City-centric radio program on Radio Free Brooklyn. When not on the radio, Tom runs The McKenzie Tapes, a cassette archiving project that aims to digitize hundreds of recorded performances at various NYC venues over the course of the last 40 years. Heralded as “the most important tape site” by CVLT Nation, The Mckenzie Tapes has also been featured in several publications, including Wire Magazine, Open Culture, Dangerous Minds, Aquarium Drunkard, Slicing Up Eyeballs, and more.
Tom previously covered the New York and New Jersey music scenes for several publications. He is also part of the production team for the Jersey City-based podcast Convince Me To Like This Band and hosts a monthly live stream series at Kaleidoscope Sound in Union City, NJ. He DJs regularly in and around New York City, produces live events in the area, and is a co-owner of Favorite Friend Records.
